Rick Genest is known popularly as “Zombie Boy” because of his years of scholarship studying zombie folklore across a variety of cultures…

Just kidding.  It’s because of his tattoos, which you can get a good look at on the cover of the latest issue of Rebel Ink, a magazine about the world of body art.

The photo shoot featuring Genest and a variety of models, is by photographer Joey L. It also produced some outtakes, which you can see in the gallery up above. The shoot is said to be inspired by Vohptate Mors, a work by artists Salvador Dali and Philippe Halsman.

You can grab the March issue of Rebel Ink at newsstands now for more on Rick “Zombie Boy” Genest.
