As technology continues to march on and innovation continues to spread, the bar on being the first product in the world to do a certain thing gets higher and higher. And that bar has been raised once more with the unveiling of ZeTime, billed by its makers at MyKronoz as the “world’s first smartwatch with hands over touchscreen.”
ZeTime was developed and built in Switzerland, the watch capital of the universe, an appropriate birthplace for a timepiece that combines 21st century smartwatch technology with old-school mechanical hands. Its patented “Smart Movement” technology is integrated seamlessly with the smart functions, a marriage which allows automatic time adjustments. And let’s not forget to mention that it can run for up to 30 days on one battery charge.
You can get a lot more information on the ZeTime smartwatch, and to pre-order one starting at $139 and up, head over to the project’s Kickstarter campaign right here. Shipments are set to begin as soon as May.
