Watch brand Patek Philippe has been keeping time for a very impressive 175 years, and to celebrate the momentous anniversary they’ve unveiled a limited edition World Time Moon (which is unfortunately not the name of a lost Brian Eno single), available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
The Patek Philippe World Time Moon earns its name with a complex face that gives you the time throughout the world and a moon phase display that gives this functionality an unprecedented level of realism and precision. The brand’s anniversary is explicitly commemorated on the back, with an engraving that reads as follows: “PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE 175e Anniversaire 1839 – 2014.″
Only 1750 pieces (that’s 1300 for the men’s, 450 for the women’s) of the Patek Philippe World Time Moon watch will be produced, and they have been priced starting at roughly $48,000.
