Been a good couple days for jerky. The other day we told you about DIY Jerky, and now the people at Manready Mercantile have come up with another jerky innovation. It’s Whiskey Soaked Campfire Jerky, which combines the dried meat with everyone’s favorite alcoholic beverage.
Whiskey Soaked Campfire Jerky, contrary to its name, isn’t just soaked in whiskey, it’s practically marinated in it overnight, then smoked Texas-style (and actually in Texas) with pecan wood. Whiskey and campfire flavors converge in a perfect formulation, then the jerky is hand-cut and inspected for consistency and no tiny half-flakes at the bottom of the bag (which is sealed and placed inside a handsome burlap sack as seen in the photo up at the top).
An eight-ounce bag of Whiskey Soaked Campfire Jerky will set you back thirty bucks at Manready Mercantile’s online store right here, or for $16 you can get a four-ounce bag.
