Time is an extremely fluid entity, always moving and changing and there’s only so much we can do to capture specific moments. Photographs and videos are two ways, but if you’re looking for something a little more chronologically specific you might be interested in the new What? Watch.
The What? Watch is not a way for you to freeze time, a la Jimmy the Boy Wonder, but it does let you mark the exact moment that the event you want to immortalize happened. You just slap the watch‘s red button, and the included app marks it and lets you elaborate on what was significant about that moment through notes, pictures, and video on social media. But be careful: You only get five moments each month (which the watch’s e-ink display keeps count of in addition to the time).
The What? Watch comes in a variety of styles (including a pocket watch variation), which you can check out here. Prices start at $170.
