Vinyl records are great for listening to music as it was meant to be heard, but they lack the heavy personalization of digital playlists or even mix CDs or cassettes. There’s a new service that allows users to bridge that gap, provided they don’t mind spending more than fifty bucks on a single record – it’s called Vinylify.
Vinylify allows users to create their own personal track lists made up of songs from the service’s own catalog or uploaded tracks, then a record with that track list will be pressed and sent out to the customer. Album art is customizable as well, so this might be a cool way to get your band’s music out there in a one-of-a-kind custom vinyl edition – master showmen take note.
It’s currently in the beta testing stage, but you can get more information on Vinylify and how it works at the service’s official website right here.
