We have officially entered the latter part of summer 2016. School has started back up again in a lot of places, and it’s time to start getting ready for fall and eventually the holidays will be right around the corner. But never let it be said that summer hi-jinks can’t last deep into the thick of August, as the VFXLAB animatronic swimming shark proves.
VFXLAB is a special effects firm that rigged up an animatronic shark that really swims, powered by a Seabob watercraft. And they threw their shark (piloted by a human driver) into a real swimming pool in order to test it, a test that was naturally recorded and put up on the internet. Summer! Whoo!
