If scientists are correct and ocean levels continue to rise, a lot of us are going to need to get used to the idea of dining underwater. Luckily, Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta has come up with a concept that will allow a few lucky customers to do so in style – that is, if the underwater restaurant concept called Under ever becomes a reality.
Even though Under is just a concept for now, it still has an intended location: The southern tip of the Norwegian coastline, where it would exist as a huge concrete slab partially submerged in the Norwegian Sea. Describing the interior of the restaurant would be a way to chew through some words, but really you should probably just take a look at the concept images below and see it for yourself:
