Uber is looking to do for food delivery what it already did for transportation, and they’re launching a service called UberEATS to prove it. Basically, the service will provide users with a menu drawn from select restaurants in their area, with the meals ultimately delivered to their door.
Right now, UberEATS is available in Los Angeles, Barcelona, and (most recently) New York City, but if it catches on the way Uber has you can bet it will be available in your city soon. Affordability is also a big priority, with price ranges advertised as being between $9 and $12 for lunch, and $10 and $15 for dinner.
If you live in New York, Los Angeles, or Barcelona, you should see the UberEATS option on your Uber app. For more information (or if you’re just curious), you can watch the introductory video below, or check out the official UberEATS site right here.
