If you’ve ever been perusing your Twitter timeline and wished silently to yourself that you could somehow spend money while doing so, great news: Twitter has unveiled the “Buy” button, which will let you spend money on products and/or services without ever leaving Twitter.

This is also good news for people who want to sell stuff to their Twitter followers, and I imagine there are certainly a lot of those out there. According to the announcement from Twitter, charitable organizations will also be getting in on the action, so at least this could generate a lot of money for various good causes.

That announcement came in the form of a short (a little over 30 seconds, to be precise) video from Twitter that reveals the “Buy” button in a typically cartoony and whimsical fashion. You can watch the video below, and to see the new feature just keep watching your Twitter feed where it’s sure to turn up eventually.
