Unless you’re a diehard fan, you could be forgiven for thinking that the upcoming revival of Twin Peaks wasn’t happening after all, or forgetting that it was happening at all. But it’s still happening, even though we still have a while to wait until it actually comes to our TVs (and computers).
More than a year, in fact, since the teaser makes it clear the show is coming sometime in 2017. Other than that, fans looking for information on the plot of the new Twin Peaks are going to have to wait a bit – and, given this is David Lynch we’re talking about, they’ll probably still be waiting even after the show is over. Of course, the flip side to that would be that any true fan of the show probably wouldn’t expect to be satisfied on a conventional narrative anyway, so … I don’t know what to think anymore (this is just how I felt when I saw Twin Peaks, now that I think of it).
Anyway, you can see the teaser for the Showtime Twin Peaks miniseries revival, featuring an out-of-character Michael Horse, below. And for whatever desperate scraps of information you might be able to gather, check out the show’s official site right here.
