Watch brand TSOVET is relatively new to the block, having been making timepieces for just about a decade, but they’ve looked much, much farther back than that into the past for the inspiration for their latest joint. It’s the TSOVET SVT-CV43, a wristwatch that takes many of its design cues from the classic pocket watch of old.
You don’t have to be a watch expert to see the similarities between the standard pocket watch design and the TSOVET SVT-CV43, with its thick, circular case and large, curved wire lugs. But on the inside, this is a thoroughly up-to-date timepiece, with a Ronda 6004.D five jewel Swiss quartz movement, so it probably keeps time better than most pocket watches ever did.
The TSOVET SVT-CV43 is available now from TSOVET’s online store here, where it’s priced at $350 (which includes a five-year warranty and free battery replacements for life). And you can see a couple of photos of the watch in the gallery below.
