Synchronizing video to music looks easy when you’re watching a music video or commercial, but if you’ve ever tried to sit down and do it you know it takes skill. If you don’t feel like practicing, though, you can always just pick up Triller, an iPhone app that automatically synchronizes and edits footage you collect to songs of your choosing.
Here’s how it works: You start by selecting a song. Then you select the portion of that song you want to use for the video. Then you give Triller multiple takes of footage that last through the entire duration of the song or song portion you chose, which is followed by the addition of visual filters selected by you. That’s when the app’s “algorithms” do the rest of the work, editing the takes together to the music, resulting in purportedly professional-quality video.
Of course, a little thing called “creative inspiration” can’t be achieved by an algorithm, at least not yet, but Triller is a free app so it’s probably worth checking out and good for improving social media videos, if nothing else. You can get more info on the app at its official site right here.
