We’re officially one step closer to Minority Report digital manipulation technology with the launch of the new Touchjet Pond. Basically, it’s a portable projector that can fit in your pocket, but that’s powerful enough to project an interactive touchscreen onto almost any surface.
More precisely, the Touchjet Pond has 4GB in flash storage plus 16GB more on a built-in SD card, a 1.6Ghz dual-core processor, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and can work directly with certain Android apps in the Google Play store. As for the touchscreen itself, it can be as large as 80 inches, so it would make a pretty good projector for movies and TV shows as well as interactive media and presentations.
You can get more information on the Touchjet Pond portable touchscreen projector at the product’s official site here, where you can also order one for yourself (or for someone you know who you wish could make more interesting visual presentations) for $600.
