NASA has recently released yet another killer video featuring our (“our” meaning humanity’s) mutual friend and benefactor, the sun. It’s called Thermonuclear Art – The Sun In Ultra-HD.
As its title promises, Thermonuclear Art – The Sun In Ultra-HD gives you a look at the sun in stunning 4K resolution, which reveals nuances and activity you might have never seen before – you certainly haven’t seen it with the naked eye, or with sunglasses for that matter. It’s a great illustration of how what we think of as a big glowing ball is actually a constantly-changing and ongoing series of compressed thermonuclear explosions, more powerful than most of us are able to imagine.
You can watch Thermonuclear Art – The Sun In Ultra-HD even if you don’t have your sunglasses handy below. And for more cool stuff from NASA’s official YouTube channel, you can give it a look right here.
