Apparently big companies can get away with stuff in Korea that wouldn’t fly in North America. I say that because the latest advertising project from The North Face involves putting a select few of its customers in physical jeopardy for a very entertaining hidden camera prank. During what they think is a routine The North Face browsing session, the floor starts rolling away under their feet, and they’re eventually implored to leap from their secure spot on the wall to a jacket suspended from the ceiling.
The moral of this next-level hidden camera bit from The North Face? It probably has something to do with the campaign motto, “Never Stop Exploring.” As in “never stop exploring, even when a store at the mall becomes a Blofeld-style deathtrap.”
