The trailer scene these days is truly ridiculous, with teasers for trailers being just one indignity heaped upon the viewing public by a film industry that is willing and eager to squeeze every last drop of publicity they can out of the internet content machine. Warner Bros is no different, but for The LEGO Batman Movie they’re at least savvy enough to make fun of the trend a little bit.
And so we have the second teaser trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie in a week, as Bats himself points out in the “intro” for the teaser (intros for commercials are another of those indignities I mentioned earlier). The trailer itself is based on interplay between Batman and Alfred, and includes brief shout-outs for all the big-screen Batmen of the last 50 years.
If you consider yourself an “ubernerd fan,” you can watch the second teaser for The LEGO Batman Movie below. The movie comes out sometime next year, but you can stay tuned for more information on the LEGO version of Batman and his first solo-billed big screen adventure right here.
