It’s been, believe it or not, thirteen years since Disney and Pixar‘s The Incredibles first leapt and bounded into theaters, and since then talk of a sequel has been fairly widespread – superheroes are supposed to get more than one adventure, after all. Now, even though more than a decade has passed, The Incredibles 2 is almost here, and judging from the recently released teaser trailer very little has changed.
In the new teaser for The Incredibles 2 (aka Incredibles 2, which I’m rejecting as somehow sounding as weird as “The Terminator 2” would have), Jack-Jack is still a baby, and he still has powers, a fact that seems to come as a pleasant surprise to his superpowered father:
Outside of what we see in the above teaser, not much is known about The Incredibles 2 – but it seems safe to assume that it will at least partially take place immediately after the first movie. It’s reportedly set to hit theaters in June of next year, so stay tuned.
