For a long time, it seemed like Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight was never going to see the inside of a movie theater. There was that controversy involving the leaked script, followed by the more vague feeling that no movie with an ensemble this stacked could ever really exist. But now, a teaser trailer for the movie has hit the internet, and it appears to be as real as life.
The Hateful Eight is unfortunately and nonsensically referred to as The H8ful Eight in the teaser, a move that I’m hard-pressed to imagine Tarantino approving. But other than that it’s pretty cool, and gives the viewer a preciously brief glimpse at the movie’s incredible cast, which includes Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and a ton more.
Readin’ will only get you so far, though, so you might as well go ahead and watch the first official teaser for The Hateful Eight below. The movie hits select theaters this Christmas with a wider release in January, but for now you can check out its official site right here.
