One of the iconic houses seen in The Godfather is now up for sale, and provided you don’t mind living in a house that was paid for with murder and racketeering, it could be yours. The house is located in Staten Island, and will be immediately familiar to anyone who has watched The Godfather and its sequel.
The owners and sellers of the house don’t seem to be shying away from the association, either, since reportedly there’s an office in the house that looks a lot like where Don Vito, and later his son Michael, conducted Corleone family business in the home. They’ve gone even further in trying to match the interior of the house to what we know from The Godfather, even though it was only the exterior that was actually seen in the movie.
You can see a few photos of what I guess will be called “The Godfather house” in the gallery below. If you want to live in it, you’ll have to pony up about $2.89 million, or just make the owners an offer they can’t refuse here.
