Before Iron Man kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe a few years back, Iron Man was considered by many to be a secondary, perhaps even slightly obscure, character in mainstream culture outside of comic books. But actually he’s appeared in a surprising wealth of onscreen adaptations both before and after that game-changing film, and The Evolution of Iron Man in Television & Film from Burger Fiction seeks to trace them all in one video.
The Evolution of Iron Man in Television & Film goes all the way back to the Marvel Super Heroes cartoon in the mid-60s up to Captain America: Civil War which hasn’t even come out yet. Tragically, Robert Hays does not make a vocal appearance, because the title sequence from the 90s cartoon starring him is featured instead.
Anyway, it’s a pretty cool dose of 50 years of Iron Man condensed into ten minutes, provided you don’t mind hearing a lot of laser sound effects in a short period of time. For more from Burger Fiction, check them out on YouTube here.
