It’s not enough that we’re all getting a new Star Wars movie once a year for the rest of our lives, we apparently also have to content with feature-length documentaries about the makings of those Star Wars movies as well. That’s the case with The Last Jedi anyway, which has its own making-of doc called The Director and The Jedi.
The Director and The Jedi is literally a home video extra feature, being included in The Last Jedi‘s Blu-ray release after having premiered earlier this week at South by Southwest. But you can go ahead and watch the first 11 and a half minutes of the documentary for yourself right now, below:
As I mentioned earlier, you can get the whole inside scoop and perhaps a clue on why the second “The” in The Director and The Jedi is capitalized by watching the documentary on the Blu-ray of The Last Jedi, which comes out in a couple weeks on March 27th. The doc is also available with the digital HD release of The Last Jedi, out now.
