I don’t want to wade into controversial waters here, but for my money cheeseburgers are pretty much the best food. First We Feast is coming out with a new web series that seeks to do a deep dive into everything going on with burgers today. It’s called The Burger Show, and it’s hosted not by Neil Hamburger but by Eggslut chef Alvin Cailan – here’s the rundown:
“First We Feast’s The Burger Show is a new web series premiering Feb. 6th that explores everything about modern burger culture—from the rise of tricked-out, gourmet burgers, to the pride of regional burgers—through the eyes of Eggslut chef, Alvin Cailan. Alvin’s breakfast-sandwich empire in Los Angeles put him on the culinary map, but it’s burgers that are his true passion. Now he’s in NYC to understand what drives his obsession, and he’s linking up with folks like Adam Richman, Padma Lakshmi, Matty Matheson, and Binging With Babish to help him along the way.”
The Burger Show arrives on the First We Feast YouTube channel here on February 6th at 11 AM ET. I have to salute the hour of the premiere, since it’s early enough in the day for viewers to grab their own burgers afterward – and they say the art of the time slot is dead.
