The new Škoda Fabia is being advertised as “attention-stealing,” meaning its design is so striking that it will snatch your attention from whatever else it might be focused on when one drives by. To prove it, the Škoda people put out a very cool commercial called The Attention Test – it might not serve as real proof that the car is an attention black hole, but it does use some cool brain trickery to make it appear to be.
I don’t want to spoil the actual mechanics of The Attention Test, but since the title of the commercial appears right at the beginning of the video I think it’s safe to say that you’ll want to pay close attention to what’s going on. But that’s easier said than done, with that cool Škoda Fabia sitting there like some kind of eyeball magnet.
