I’m not sure why, but the idea of spending a few days, weeks, or years out in the wilderness seems pretty appealing right about now. And if you’ve got enough money to bankroll it, you can do it in luxury and style at The 7th Room of the Treehotel in a secluded pine forest in Harads, Sweden.
The 7th Room of the Treehotel is nestled ten feet above that forest, with plenty of large windows for accentuating its unique vantage point, a netted terrace, and even a tree growing through the inside of the structure. Also inside: Two bedrooms, a social lounge area, bathroom, and in case you get tired of looking at real trees there’s a large black and white print of some trees on the bottom-facing “sixth facade” (this also helps The 7th Room blend into its environment).
The 7th Room is actually available for booking now, and you can get more information on that and other aspects of the project straight from the Treehotel company’s official site here.
