Clint Eastwood was supposed to make a normal movie about the August 21, 2015 thwarted terrorist attack on board a train to Paris. But somewhere along the line, he decided that instead of having actors portray the real servicemen who were involved in the story, he’d let them play themselves onscreen. The result is The 15:17 to Paris, a new trailer for which made its way online today.
The trailer for The 15:17 to Paris almost makes it seem like some kind of recruiting film, but hopefully we’ll at least get some tense train action in the bargain – and, if Eastwood’s history as a filmmaker can be trusted, the movie itself will probably be more complicated than the trailer makes it out to be.
