Here’s a classic “good news, bad news” situation: Taco Bell, according to a recent statement by a high-ranking Yum Brands executive, just might be adding a home delivery option in the restaurant’s near future. That’s the good news, with the bad news being that having access to Taco Bell food (as well as brand-mate Kentucky Fried Chicken) without leaving your house might not bode well for your health and fitness.
The statement was made during an interview with Yum’s Greg Creed in Fortune magazine, in which Creed said that Taco Bell home delivery may soon “get into a test, probably a couple of stores near a couple of college campuses.” College campuses, Taco Bell home delivery … I hope this doesn’t spell the end of higher education as we know it.
You can read the whole interview at the Fortune site right here. Then, you can run a little Taco Bell home delivery test for yourself by paying someone you know to go to Taco Bell, order your food, and bring it back.
