Carrie Fisher died in December of 2016, but the legacy she left behind is incalculable. The same goes for Princess Leia, who she played in four different Star Wars movies, except she died a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. They’re both the inspiration for the new Table Le-a from Leblon Delienne, too.
Table Le-a gets its shape from the distinctive hairstyle favored by Princess Leia in the first Star Wars movie, although it’s a safe bet that few would make the connection without seeing the table’s name first. But when you’re paying over seventeen grand for a coffee table, you probably don’t want it to look too much like a piece of Star Wars merchandise.
You can do just that by heading to the Leblon Delienne online store right here, where orders on the Zaha Hadid Design collaboration are now being accepted. If nothing else, you can be sure that if Carrie Fisher were alive to see this, she would think it was hilarious.
