It’s been almost 30 years since we last saw an officially licensed Nintendo breakfast cereal on grocery store shelves, but as they say, these things tend to go in cycles. So now we have a new Super Mario Cereal from Nintendo and Kellogg’s, coming to store shelves in the United States sometime soon.
Super Mario Cereal was first uncovered by cereal blog Cerealously, but now it’s been all but officially confirmed by Nintendo, and sneaky employees at store chains like Wal-Mart and Target have snagged photos of the back of the box:

In case you’re wondering what kind of cereal Super Mario Cereal actually is, it’s billed as “mixed berry cereal with marshmallows,” which to be honest sounds pretty good to me right now – or maybe I’m just having a relapse into childhood. Also, as you can see in the photo above, each box will be an amiibo as well, so you’ll be able to interact with it in the world of Super Mario Odyssey.
