You may be aware that rock band The Rolling Stones is observing its 50th anniversary this year. To celebrate the occasion, Suntory Liquors Ltd has produced a limited edition whiskey. The special blend will be available in only 150 special bottles valued at $6,300. As you can see in the above photo, the bottles are adorned with the famous Rolling Stones “tongue and lips ” logo.
The blended whiskey will include whiskeys from many different years that are significant to the history of The Rolling Stones. These include blends from the following years: 1962, the year the band formed; 1971, when the “tongue and lips” logo first made its appearance; 1972, when their iconic album Exile on Main St.; and 1990, when the Stones made their first trip to Japan.
