We’ve now had three big-screen Spider-Men since the turn of the century, the latest having made his soft debut in Captain America: Civil War. Now it’s time for the latest generation Peter Parker model to make his solo entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the film’s recently premiered first trailer makes a positive case for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming shows Peter fighting a supervillain (The Vulture, played by Michael Keaton) seemingly in order to win the approval of his mentor Tony Stark, and possibly to impress his high school crush. He’s now played by Tom Holland, and has a funny fat friend and a spider-suit with Ditko-style web wings.
