If your dream is to go to space but you don’t want to go through all the training and paperwork necessary to become an astronaut, there is an alternative that’s at least a little more realistic than getting on board a spaceship in the near future. It’s the Kameha Grand Zurich Hotel in Switzerland’s Space Suite, by German artist Michael Najjar.
The Space Suite impeccably creates the illusion of some kind of hotel room carved out of the lunar surface itself, and it’s outfitted with all sorts of other space-related decorations, like pictures of astronauts on the walls, space gloves on the table, etc. You can’t float around like you would be in a low-gravity environment, but it’s still pretty cool.
Even if a trip to Switzerland is as unlikely as a trip to space in your present circumstances, you can still take a look at the Kameha Grand Zurich Hotel Space Suite in the gallery below. And for more information on the room, or to book your mission now, check out the hotel’s official site here.
