Another glimpse of the future is here from Sony. This time it’s the Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector, which takes the usual wires, cords, and hardware associated with wall projectors and condenses it all into one sleek case that you can put right up against the wall for an Ultra High-Definition image that’s up to 147 inches in size.
The Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector comes as five nearly identical shiny aluminum components, with the only outward difference between them being their varying lengths. But on the inside they’re two cabinets for storing your home electronics, two speaker units, and one projection unit that closes flat when not in use—the idea being that the 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector can sink into the background of your home when it’s not needed.
