Snow sledding isn’t generally thought of as an extreme sport (unless you’re Clark Griswold, of course). But the Snolo Sled might just change that, at least in the eyes of everyone who can afford its $2,550 asking price.
The Snolo Sled is constructed almost completely from carbon fiber, including the areas where it counts the most: the three skis that actually touch the snow (one in front, two in the back). And it’s designed in such a way to emphasize maximum speed, as well as comfort and maneuverability.
The makers of the Snolo Sled claim that it can hit speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, which I imagine would require just the right kind of snow and a pretty steep hill. But it’s very impressive nonetheless.
