Sharp has just announced its plans to release the biggest LED TV ever made. At 90 inches large, the new Sharp Aquos is an LED HDTV that runs Active 3D technology, along with Sharp’s AquoMotion 240 technology and Full Array LED. The model comes with a resolution of 1080p.
The 90-inch Sharp Aquos is a logical progression over existing models, which are sized between 32 and 60 inches large. Attempts have been made to roll out OLED TVs and 3D TVs, but they’ve proven to be cost prohibitive compared to using existing LED TV technology and sizing it up.
It’s only a matter of time now before Sharp’s competitors from Samsung and Sony come out with their own gigantic LED TVs.
