It may very well be the case that you’ll soon be able to get a fast food facsimile of the American classic pulled pork sandwich at your local Shake Shack. That’s because at almost every one of the chain’s locations in New York City, the Shake Shack BBQ Pulled Pork Burger is currently being tested out.
The Shake Shack BBQ Pulled Pork Burger is a Shake Shack burger topped with Niman Ranch BBQ pulled pork, jalapeño cole slaw and pickles, and naturally is available in both single and double stacked versions. And there seems to be a bit of a disparity in the roll-out plan vs reality, as reported by Bedford + Bowery:
“A Shack rep says it can be ordered exclusively via the Shake Shack app and will be available for in-house purchase starting July 14, but when we stopped into the Astor Place location today it was already loaded up on at least one of the electronic ordering kiosks.”
In any case, watch for the Shake Shack BBQ Pulled Pork Burger to get a wider release sometime in the near future.
