Shake Shack is a legendary hamburger chain whose notoriety reaches far beyond its relatively limited marketplace. And part of the reason for that notoriety is their innovative and delicious cheeseburgers, such as the newly introduced ShackMeister cheeseburger, featuring fried shallots as well as (naturally) the chain’s signature ShackSauce.
Putting fried shallots on a cheeseburger isn’t a brand new idea – it’s basically a slightly classier version of the onion ring topping – but the ShackMeister looks pretty damn good anyway. The burger was officially unveiled by Shake Shack at the recent 2014 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Burger Bash, and is set for limited-time availability starting on January 1st. So if you’re not in one of the Shake Shack territories, you might want to think about going to one sooner rather than later.
If you’re a glutton for punishment (such as reading about burgers you can’t even eat yet), you can see more about the ShackMeister burger at the official Shake Shack website here.
