At the recent world premiere of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s upcoming earthquake action movie San Andreas, The Rock was shattering something that doesn’t have anything to do with fault lines: The selfie world record – more specifically, the record for most selfies taken in a three-minute period, as endorsed by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The three-minute selfie world record now stands at 105, thanks to Dwayne Johnson’s heroic efforts, and he got an official Guinness plaque and everything to commemorate his achievement. And unlike pro wrestling referees, those Guinness judges aren’t just messing around. Johnson took a few more than the required 105 selfies, but a few weren’t counted due to poor photo quality or part of his face getting cut out of the frame.
You can watch Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson set the new selfie world record below. And if you think you can beat the champ’s record, head over to the Guinness World Records site here to get started.
