It must have been a good year for billionaire Saudi prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, as he recently paid a $300 million sum for an Airbus A380, which he intends to use as his private jet. But that’s not all – he added another $200 million worth of renovations and upgrades!
What kind of upgrades? Oh, the usual. Stuff like a parking space for his Rolls-Royce, a small concert hall (complete with a grand piano), a steam room with heated tiles, a lounge with high-definition TVs and glass floors that allow passengers to look directly under the plane, five luxury master bedrooms and 20 other private rooms, a private elevator, and an automated prayer room that adjusts itself to face Mecca.
Wow! I guess when you’re one of the richest men in the world, a regular $300 million jet just isn’t good enough.
