The Santa Fe Brewing Company has announced a brand new brew, called the Imperial Java Stout, which it says gives the word “stout” its reputation.
Carrying a heavy weight of 8% alcohol and a body “as full as chocolate bread pudding,” the new Imperial Java Stout gets its bitter notes from American hops, British hops, black-roasted malts, and quite a bit of java coffee beans.
This stout is made from organically grown East Timor coffee beans blended with New Guinea coffee beans. So if you love coffee and beer, Imperial Java Stout sounds like it offers the best of both worlds.
