The NX line of cameras from Samsung is about to get its newest member. It’s the Samsung NX3000, a less expensive alternative to other mirrorless cameras on the market.
The NX3000 retains the engineered-for-selfies LCD screen that can flip back and forth of the NX Mini. Backing that beloved feature up are the 20.3 Megapixel APS-C sensor, 1/4000 shutter, WiFi compatibility, and much more. The NX3000 will also be available to consumers with two different options—one with the standard 20-50mm lens and another with a a 16-50mm stabilized power zoom lens (the latter will cost $50 more).
The Samsung NX3000 is scheduled to hit select electronics retailers on June 1st. When it does, it will carry a suggested retail price of $479, which, as I mentioned up top, is significantly more affordable than other comparable cameras from other brands. If that’s inside your wheelhouse, you can take a look at the NC3000 photos from Samsung in the gallery up top.
