Last Thursday, Samsung unveiled their newest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S 4. In some ways, the S 4 is a familiar step up from its predecessor, the S III. But in many other ways this is a bold leap forward in the world of smartphones, with some speculating that the Galaxy S 4 could be the phone that finally upsets Apple‘s dominance of the market.
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is most notable because of its camera – a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2-megapixel forward-facing one. These cutting-edge cameras are powered by innovative software with features like DualShot, which allows users to combine photos taken with the front and rear cameras into one, and Cinema Photo, which allows users to include one moving element in their still photographs.
There are plenty of other impressive features on the Samsung Gallery S 4, which you can read all about here. As for release and pricing info, all we know is that it will be available in April from all the major carriers, and no price point has been stated as of yet.
