The people at Samsung have added a new tablet to their roster. It’s the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 and the specs include a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, and a 1024 x 600 pixel display capable of high-definition playback.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will also be available in two different versions: A Wi-Fi and a 3G. Both were designed with an emphasis on lightness and sleekness , as the Wi-Fi version weights only 302 grams, while the 3G weighs in at 306.
Release details, such as pricing and availability, are being kept close to Samsung’s vest, with the only pertinent announcement being that the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 3 will come sometime in May, while the 3G will hit the market one month after that. As for the rest of the information, Samsung expects to doll it out “gradually.”
