Carrying your kid on your shoulders is a graduate level parenting move, one that should ideally only be attempted by skilled and practiced parents. But the new Saddlebaby shoulder carrier makes it easier to carry a tiny human on your shoulders while leaving your hands free.
It might be hard to believe, but the Saddlebaby is completely sanctioned by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, although since little kids aren’t really the “consumers” here, that might just mean it’s safe for parents to use (just kidding, I hope).
It works with strong Velcro straps and includes a bit of cushioning in its foam seat, which will probably be a welcome relief for both kids and parents.
You can see a few shots of the Saddlebaby shoulder carrier in the gallery up at the top of the page. And one can be had from Amazon here for less than $90. Child not included.
