Roland is one of the premiere brand names in synthesizers, with its products revolutionizing film soundtracks and pop music throughout the 1980s. Now, the company is bringing back three of their most beloved products in limited edition portable versions for a line called Roland Boutique.
The Roland Boutique takes three of the company’s legendary synthesizers – the Jupiter-8, the JX-3P, and the Juno-106 – and condenses them into units roughly the size of a book that you can take almost anywhere. Each one includes two ribbon controllers, a sequencer, and a built-in speaker, along with extra features that weren’t in the original synthesizers, like USB compatibility for online sharing of your retro synth line creations.
