Last month, the world collectively went nuts all over again for Back to the Future Part II, and one of the byproducts of that mass hysteria was a true-to-life Nike Mag sneaker with power laces. Now, it turns out Puma is working on an even cooler power-lacing sneaker, recently unveiled as the Puma Autodisc.
The Puma Autodisc is set to come out sometime next year. In the meantime, it was previewed by Highsnobiety (you can check out that article right here). The current version requires a USB hookup in order to charge, but Puma says the version that’s coming out in 2016 won’t require USB to work.
Better, though, to just see Usain Bolt trying out the sneakers’ power lacing system for yourself:
