Any technological innovation that includes the phrase “robotic arms” is almost certainly to be of interest, and the new Prodrone PD6B-AW-ARM is no exception. It’s the latest drone from Prodrone and it’s equipped with two robotic arms powerful enough to lift payloads of up to 22 pounds.

The Prodrone PD6B-AW-ARM maxes out at 37 miles per hour, a 5,000-meter altitude, and 30 minutes of flight time with that aforementioned 22-pound payload, but there’s no point in focusing on its limitations when it’s got a couple of robot arms right out of science fiction coming out of the bottom.

Billed as “the world’s first dual robot arm large-format drone,” the Prodrone PD6B-AW-ARM can be seen in actually kind of horrifying action in the demonstration video below.
