At this year’s E3 convention, a retro gaming console that almost seems too good to be true was demonstrated for fans. It’s called Polymega, and it’s designed to support all of the major consoles of yore, like the NES, the SNES, the Sega Genesis, and even CD based consoles like the PlayStation and Sega CD.
A catch-all console for playing hosts of classic console games is a dream come true for anybody who’s hung onto their video games for the last 30 years, and Polymega’s key feature lets users download their games from disc or cartridge so they don’t even need the physical game to play it. And as a personal editorial note hopefully support for the legendary Sega Saturn console will be announced soon.
In any case, the Polymega isn’t available for pre-order yet, but you can sign up for updates and get all the information now available at the product’s official site right here.
