Selecting a major can be a daunting task for any young scholar. Do you pick something practical, with the greatest chance of gainful-yet-uninspired employment? Or do you follow your heart and study your capitalistically worthless passion and hope things work out for the best? Now, thanks to Pizza Hut and Manchester Metropolitan University, you can do both by becoming a pizza major.
Pizza major hopefuls at Manchester Metropolitan will be competing for 1,500 apprenticeships under the program, under which over the next five years students will learn everything there is to know about pizza, from its storied history to its preparation, its marketing, and much more.
If you want to follow your dreams of dough and cheese and become a pizza major, you can read a little bit more about it and find pertinent info on how to enroll at the Manchester Evening News site right here. But be forewarned: A concentrated pizza-based curriculum may cause you to lose your love for pizza forever.
