Pepsi‘s zero-calorie Pepsi Light isn’t the sort of thing you’d want to use to replace fluids while exercising, but that hasn’t stopped the brand from developing a crazy exercise-themed novelty bottle for the soda, known as the Pepsi Light Dumbbell.
You might be thinking that the Pepsi Light Dumbbell is an April Fool’s Day joke that accidentally leaked a couple of days early, but it’s reportedly a real product that’s been distributed to various gyms by Brazilian ad agency AlmapBBDO. It weighs two kilograms, and is kind of an ironic choice of container for a drink called “Pepsi Light,” wouldn’t you say?
It’s not clear how widely available the Pepsi Light Dumbbell will be in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled the next time you’re at the gym and you might just see one. You can also read more about the campaign via the AdWeek story about the bottle right here.
